Main Beach Playground Expansion
It’s Here! The new playground equipment has been installed at
the Main Beach. The new equipment is designed specifically for younger
tots ages 2-5 years old, but school-aged children will enjoy it too! The
equipment features a preschool rock wall, clatter bridge, turn slide, double
slide, tree climb, 2 bubble panels and is complete with ADA stairs. Rose
Newman, resident and member of the Beaches & Parks Committee, worked together
with Keith Lively of Sport Systems, Inc. to design a new system that could
be incorporated with our existing set. Craig Madden, Board Chair of the
Beaches & Parks Committee, gave budgetary support and jumped hurdles to
secure the building permit. Come out and enjoy before winter sets in.
